MONITORING AND IMPACT OF THE PROJECT WITH ENVIRONMENTAL, SOCIAL, TECHNICAL AND ECONOMIC INDICATORS
This action will measure the impact of the project with environmental, social, technical and economic indicators.
This action will be connected to the evaluation of the situation before the activity implementation in the buildings where the demonstration activities are developed and also it will evaluate the situation after the project development. The demonstration activities are divided in 2 cases:
1. Refurbished buildings where the project will monitor the environmental, economic and social indicators to evaluate the base line situation and after the application of the project methodology to develop a NZEB with low carbon footprint.
2. New buildings developed during the project life-time will be compared with a twin building close to the demonstrator, developed using standard construction materials and technologies.
In both cases the monitoring of the construction process is very important because the project will demonstrate the saving and extra costs of natural and recycled materials. The main indicators to measure during monitoring activities are:
This action has the following sub-actions:
C 1.1. Monitoring methodology and indicators of impact.
Creation of a list of indicators and the way to obtain them. This methodology will include environmental, social and economic impacts of the buildings before and after the construction of NZEB with low carbon footprint and impacts related with natural and recycled resources to ensure the sustainability of the whole life-cycle of the proposed methodology.
C 1.2. Base line analysis.
The beneficiaries will develop the current situation and expected results according to the situation after the project kick off meeting.
C 1.3. Data collecting.
Partner involved in different actions will send technical tests, construction measures, simulation data, surveys results, etc. to elaborate a sharing information. These data will be order by technical coordinator using an online tool located in web-site server.
C 1.4. Evaluation of final impacts.
Comparison of the results with base line expectative. The evaluation will analyse the positive and negative deviations.
C 1.5. Long term monitoring plan.
Before the end of the project a monitoring evaluation method will be developed to ensure the replicability and transference of the successful result obtained by the project: natural and recycled technologies, legislations, construction methods, etc.
C 1.6. Monitoring KPI in webtool.
Monitoring system developed for the demonstrators to check the following indicators: real energy consumptions and emissions, water consumptions and indoor air quality rate.
Material supply control to calculate the indicators of embodied energy, emission during construction, water consumptions during construction, workers involved and accuracy of their works.
